The Czech Television board rejected a complaint on the discussion with Samková

 Michal Pavlásek of the Ethnological Institute of the Academy of Sciences and documentary maker Apolena Rychlíková turned to the Czech Television board with a complaint. In their opinion Czech Television made a bad choice of guest for the series „Events and Comments“ on the topic of refugees. The complainants highlighted the fact that Klára Samková is not an expert on the topic in question. The Czech Television board rejected the complaint on the grounds that a public-law subject must provide space for all opinions. Klára Samková takes a strict anti-immigration standpoint, considering the refugees sailing towards European shores as an invading army and has long warned against security risks and a loss of European identity.
